  4.                           WHAT IS THE SBCnet?
  5.                           -------------------
  6.     The Sound Board Connection Network is an idea that a well known
  7. group of Sound Blaster programmers in Holland named 'Ultra Force' came
  8. up with early in 1991.  It is based on the idea of having a network of
  9. BBS's spanning the world that have specialized support for the Creative
  10. Lab's Sound Blaster series of cards, the Gravis Ultrasound, and many
  11. other sound and video cards that have been introduced in the past few
  12. years.  Join the network where we discuss the exciting things that have
  13. happened to affordable sound on the IBM PC and compatibles.

  15.                     I DON'T HAVE A FRONT-END MAILER

  17.     The best solution for this problem is for you to install a front-end
  18. mailer and the necessary accompanying software required for message and
  19. file handling.  There are several reasons behind why SBCNet will no
  20. longer attempt to provide QWK network systems with membership to SBCNet,
  21. some of which are explained in the info pack.
  22.     We are sorry if this sounds cruel or places limit on the types of
  23. BBS systems that can join SBCNet, but experience with a number of
  24. systems over the past year has caused nothing but headaches for both the
  25. Host and the QWK mail system.
